Registration for the German courses for students and staff at FH JOANNEUM

Dear students, dear colleagues!

During the summer term 2025 the department International Relations will again offer a large number of German courses, which can be attended by students and employees and their next of kin.

The course offer includes grammar and competence courses (writing and reading, listening and speaking). In summer term we also offer the special courses „Business German (B2-C1)“, „Writing in an academic context (C1)“ and „Presenting in an academic context (C1)“. Once again we offer the “Tandem+ Programme” for students.

All courses are free of charge yet a small fee (€ 20, – per course) will be charged for teaching materials and the textbook.

Please note that this registration form is just valid for German courses held in GRAZ. For German courses in Kapfenberg and Bad Gleichenberg please contact our international offices directly at international-kbg@fh-joanneum.at and

The registration for students already enrolled in a degree programme and staff is only possible by 20 February 2025. The courses start on 24 February 2025!

Data processing, purpose and legal basis
FH JOANNEUM GmbH, Alte Poststrasse 149, 8020 Graz, International Relations, international@fh-joanneum.at, will electronically process the personal data which you have provided during the registration process.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) since the processing is necessary for performing a contract. The processing is carried out for the purpose of coordinating the semester courses in German as a Foreign Language offered by the FH JOANNEUM International Relations Division. There is no statutory obligation to provide these data, but they are required for registration. If you fail to provide the required information your pre-registration cannot be taken into account.

The data provided will be deleted after one year from the date of collection. FH JOANNEUM will not collect or combine personal data from third parties within the meaning of Art. 14 GDPR. Data processors
The data collected will be used by FH JOANNEUM GmbH, Alte Poststrasse 147, 8020 Graz, datenschutz@fh-joanneum.at and transferred to the teachers of the relevant language courses for the purpose of processing the pre-registration.
